Take Command of a Tactical Army

Battalion: Nemesis is a turn-based strategy game where the player controls a military force led by Sergeant Tucker. The main campaign follows the Rapid Attack and Response unit as it fights against the forces of Mullen.

Instead of controlling one soldier in real time, the player gives orders to several units on a grid-based battlefield.

Each side takes turns moving and attacking. This gives the player time to study the map before making a decision. A careless move can leave a valuable unit exposed, while a smart position can make the next attack much easier.

The main campaign contains 10 missions, with 16 playable levels available across the full game.

Move Units One at a Time

The mouse handles most commands.

Clicking one of your units shows where it can move. Open squares within range become possible destinations. Clicking an enemy within attack range lets the selected unit move into position and attack.

Different terrain can affect how far a unit travels, so moving across an open road may not work the same way as crossing rough ground.

The arrow keys scroll around larger maps. The Control key can select the next available unit.

This makes it easier to manage several soldiers and vehicles during one turn.

Learn Which Unit Works Best

Battalion: Nemesis includes several types of military units.

Infantry can provide useful fighting power at a lower cost. Tanks and other vehicles offer heavier armor and stronger attacks. Ships and submarines fight across water, while aircraft can move across areas that ground units cannot easily reach.

Every unit has strengths and weaknesses.

Heavy weapons are useful against certain armored targets, while lighter weapons work better against other types of units. Sending the wrong attacker into a fight can cause very little damage.

The player needs to look at the enemy force and choose the right response.

Complete Different Mission Objectives

Battles are not always about destroying everything on the map.

Some missions involve capturing important locations, protecting units, surviving enemy attacks, or reaching a specific position.

This makes each map feel different.

One level may reward aggressive movement. Another may work better with a slower defense where damaged units stay away from the front line.

Players also need to think about which units can safely attack first and which ones should wait until later in the turn.

Think Before Ending the Turn

Battalion: Nemesis rewards planning more than fast clicking.

The enemy gets its own turn after the player finishes moving. A tank left alone can become an easy target. An infantry unit placed near useful cover may survive much longer.

The game also saves progress between completed missions, so the campaign can continue without starting from the beginning.

Battalion: Nemesis keeps its controls simple while giving every move a purpose. Players study the map, compare unit types, plan attacks, protect weaker forces, and slowly work toward the mission goal. The turn-based system gives enough time to think, but poor decisions can still change the entire battle.
