Harry Quantum 3: Cheese Carnival brings private investigator Harry Quantum back for another point-and-click adventure. This time an alien visits Harry with a strange case involving people who disappear at a cheese-themed carnival.
Harry travels to the carnival to investigate. What starts with a ticket and a camera soon turns into a much larger mystery. The adventure takes you through carnival booths, maintenance areas, tents, hidden rooms, and several unusual situations.
The mouse controls the whole game. Click objects to examine them, collect useful items, talk to characters, and move between locations.
Search Every Part of the Carnival
Harry keeps useful objects in his inventory. Many puzzles require you to use one item on another object in the environment.
You may collect things that look strange at first. A screwdriver, duct tape, cheese slices, a camera, and even a cheese shake can become important parts of the investigation.
Some puzzles require more than simple item use. One challenge asks you to copy the pattern of a keycard by making different-sized holes in slices of cheese. Harry can then turn the result into a fake keycard.
This type of puzzle fits the game’s silly sense of humor while still giving you a clear problem to solve.
Look for Extra PIPs
Harry Quantum 3 also hides optional PIPs throughout the adventure. Curious players can earn them by examining certain objects or using items in unusual ways.
They are not always needed to finish the main case. Finding them gives you another reason to inspect each scene carefully.
The camera plays an important role as well. Harry can photograph clues and people when the investigation calls for it.
You should also pay attention to Harry’s notes. Codes and other pieces of information collected earlier can become useful much later.
Harry Quantum 3: Cheese Carnival works best when you take your time. Click around each location and check objects before leaving. Items that seem useless can solve a problem several scenes later.
