An Alien Attack on the City

ET Smash is an action game where you control an alien inside a large destruction machine. The alien arrives on Earth with one clear goal in the game: cause as much damage as possible while traveling through the city. Cars, people, buildings, and other objects appear along the route as the machine moves forward.

The challenge is not only about smashing things. Each level gives you a limited amount of time. You must travel a required distance before that time runs out. Later stages increase the distance and bring tougher enemies.

Moving and Using the Weapon

The arrow keys move your machine around the streets. The mouse controls its large weapon. Moving the mouse lets you swing the weapon over enemies and objects. One weapon also includes a claw that can grab things when you click the mouse.

This setup gives ET Smash two jobs at once. You steer with one hand and aim the weapon with the other. You need to keep moving because standing around wastes the limited time available for the level.

Not Everything Should Be Hit

Large vehicles can damage your machine when you crash into them. Planes also fire missiles from above. Avoiding those attacks helps you keep enough health to continue through the city.

That creates a simple choice during play. Smaller targets can help you cause more destruction, while dangerous vehicles and incoming attacks can quickly create trouble.

See How Far You Can Travel

Distance plays a major role in ET Smash. Reaching the minimum distance allows you to continue, but the game keeps increasing the challenge as you move through the levels. Your enemies become harder and the required journey grows longer.

ET Smash works as a straightforward destruction game with easy controls. The fun comes from moving through crowded streets, swinging the oversized weapon, avoiding dangerous attacks, and trying to travel farther before your machine takes too much damage or the timer reaches zero.
