Return to the War

Straw Hat Samurai 2 continues the sword-fighting adventure with new enemies, stronger bosses, fresh moves, and more ways to attack. The Straw Hat Samurai once again fights through occupied land and clears a path for the advancing army. Each stage places groups of soldiers between the hero and an enemy leader waiting near the end.

The sequel keeps the drawn-line sword system from the first game. Hold the mouse button and drag a line through an opponent. The samurai follows the mark with his blade. A well-placed line can strike several enemies or finish a weaker soldier with one clean hit.

Launch Enemies Into the Air

Straw Hat Samurai 2 adds air combos. Start a line below an enemy and drag upward. The blow launches the target into the air. You can draw more cuts before the soldier falls back to the ground. This move helps control dangerous enemies and creates a chance to deal extra damage without standing beside them.

Platform sections also use drawn lines. Begin the line at the samurai’s current position and end it on the next platform. He jumps along the path you create. Starting the mark in the wrong place can cause a missed landing.

Activate Shunpo Mode

Press the Spacebar to activate Shunpo mode. Time slows or pauses around the samurai, giving you a brief chance to plan several cuts. The move uses energy from the blue bar. Attacking enemies helps refill that power. Shunpo becomes useful during crowded fights and boss battles where normal slashes may not create enough space. Press P when you need to pause the game.

Handle Armoured Soldiers

Armoured enemies can survive ordinary attacks. Repeating the same slash wastes time and leaves the hero open. Watch for weak points and use the correct direction of attack. Downward cuts can work against some protected soldiers. You can also slash incoming projectiles to knock them away.

Keep an eye on the red health bar and avoid taking needless damage before reaching a boss. Straw Hat Samurai 2 contains heavy blood effects and sword violence, so it is better suited to older players. The new air attacks, platform movement, special mode, and tougher enemies make every fight more varied than the first game.
