Guide Guy Through a Fast Shooting Battle

Legacy of Guy: Trifection is an action shooting game and the third entry in the Legacy of Guy series. The game puts Guy in the middle of a strange battle where he uses his own acidic blood beams as a weapon. Instead of controlling him with the arrow keys, you guide his movement with the mouse. This creates a different style of play where aiming, moving, and avoiding danger all depend on how carefully you control the pointer.

Move the mouse to guide Guy around the screen. Click the left mouse button to fire his acidic blood beams. These shots form the main attack and allow you to fight the enemies that appear during the journey.

Moving and shooting at the same time takes some practice. Keeping Guy in one place makes him easier to hit. Constant wild movement can also create problems because it becomes harder to aim. Short and controlled movements give you a better chance to stay away from danger while keeping your attacks pointed toward the enemy.

Use Bombs and Special Actions

Legacy of Guy: Trifection gives Guy several extra controls beyond his normal blood-beam attack. Press A to use a bomb. Press S for the turn action. Press D to activate Guy’s special ability.

Bombs are worth keeping in mind when normal shooting becomes difficult. The special action gives you another option when the regular attack is not enough. Learning where these abilities fit into the battle can make later sections easier.

It is better to learn the normal mouse movement first. Once you can guide Guy without losing control, start adding bombs and special actions to your play.

Keep Attacking Without Losing Control

Legacy of Guy: Trifection becomes more demanding when the screen fills with threats. The mouse controls both the pace of your movement and where Guy travels. Watch the space around him rather than staring only at the enemy.

The game also includes a final battle, so reaching the later part requires more than surviving a few short attacks.

Legacy of Guy: Trifection keeps its controls small but gives each one an important job. Guide Guy with the mouse, fire his unusual acidic blood beams, use bombs when they become useful, and save the extra actions for moments where they can make a difference.
