Take Control of the Quantum Robot
Quantum Patrol is a side-scrolling action and platform game where you control a high-tech robot on a dangerous mission. A global peace group sends the robot into a weapons manufacturing facility. Your task is to move through the area, fight hostile machines, complete objectives, and shut down the dangerous operation.
The robot can run, jump, shoot, protect itself, and interact with objects around each stage. The game also mixes action with physics puzzles. Some areas cannot be passed by simply defeating enemies. You may need to move objects or use the robot’s special quantum equipment to reach another platform.
Use the Quantum Line
One of the most useful abilities is the Quantum Line. You can attach it to certain objects and overhead points. This lets the robot swing across gaps or move objects into better positions.
The robot also has a shield. Holding the shield protects you from danger and plays a part in hacking certain switches. Boost areas let you use extra power to travel through parts of the level that normal movement cannot handle.
The mouse controls aiming and shooting. Movement uses the keyboard. You can also interact with doors and other parts of the environment.
Weapons, Ammo, and Upgrades
Quantum Patrol gives you several weapons instead of making you use the same gun throughout the whole adventure. The basic weapon has unlimited ammunition. Other weapons need ammo, so you need to manage them more carefully.
Between missions, you can visit a shop. Money earned during play can go toward weapons, ammunition, and improvements for the robot. Upgrades can strengthen its attacking and defensive abilities.
The console also keeps useful information together. You can check mission objectives, achievements, and level details from there.
Quantum Patrol works as more than a simple robot shooting game. Combat matters, but movement and problem solving matter too. Learning how to use the Quantum Line can make difficult sections easier. Saving stronger weapons for dangerous enemies can also help.
