In High Risk Rescue you play as Jake Long. He can be a regular kid or change into the American Dragon. Some bad characters called the Gorgon Sisters take Jake’s friends Trixie and Spud. You need to help Jake go through buildings, beat enemies, and save them.
You use arrow keys to walk and jump. The Space Bar lets you switch between human and dragon. As a human Jake you can kick, hit switches, or move boxes. As the Dragon you can fly a little, use your tail to hit enemies, and breathe fire. There’s a special meter for dragon power. If it runs out, you turn back into human Jake.
Along the way you find helpful items: apples that refill your dragon power, health items to heal up, extra lives, and things that boost your score. There are obstacles like electric wires, spider nets, flying enemies, walls, and crates. You need to dodge, fly, or fight in the right form to get past them and rescue your friends.
