Cut the Arena Down to Size

Divide and Conquer is a simple puzzle and skill game where your goal is to remove large sections of the playing field. Enemies bounce around inside the arena while you draw new dividing lines. Every completed line cuts away an empty part of the board and leaves the moving enemies with less space.

The goal in each level is to reduce the arena to about 25 percent of its original size. That sounds straightforward until the enemies begin getting in the way.

Draw Lines With the Mouse

You control Divide and Conquer with the mouse. Start a line and extend it across the open area until it reaches another boundary.

The danger comes while that line is still being created. An enemy must not touch it before the division is complete.

This means choosing where to draw matters. A huge cut can remove plenty of space, but a long unfinished line also gives a bouncing enemy more time to reach it.

Smaller cuts can feel safer when several enemies are nearby.

Watch Where the Enemies Are Moving

The moving enemies bounce around the remaining area. Their paths can change after hitting walls, so it helps to watch them for a moment before starting another line.

Try to draw when the enemies have moved away from the section you want to capture. Once the line reaches the opposite edge safely, the empty portion disappears and the playable area becomes smaller.

As the arena shrinks, avoiding the enemies becomes harder because they have less room to move.

Reach the Target Without Getting Hit

Divide and Conquer does not need complicated controls or a long story. The challenge comes from timing and choosing safe places to divide the board.

You need to balance risk with progress. Large cuts can finish a level faster, while smaller divisions can give you more control.

Watch the bouncing enemies, draw lines through empty sections, avoid having an enemy touch an unfinished line, and keep reducing the arena until only the required portion remains.
