Clear the Entire Tile Layout
Mah Jongg is a classic matching puzzle played with traditional picture tiles. The pieces begin in a layered arrangement, with some tiles sitting above or beside others. Your goal is to remove every piece from the board before too much time passes. This version keeps the design simple. It does not fill the screen with extra modes or long instructions. The timer starts when play begins, which encourages quick but careful choices.
Match Two Free Tiles
Click one tile and then choose another tile with the same picture. The pair disappears when both pieces remain available for play. A tile counts as free when nothing covers it and at least one of its long sides stays open. Pieces trapped between other tiles cannot move yet. You need to clear the tiles around them first.
Some matching pictures may appear several times. Do not always remove the first pair you notice. One choice may uncover useful tiles, while another can leave an important section blocked.
Open the Highest and Widest Areas
Tiles on top of the layout often block several pieces below them. Long rows can also trap many tiles at once. Clearing these areas creates more choices for later turns.
Look across the whole board before clicking. Find pairs that free the largest number of hidden pieces. Avoid spending both copies of a picture when another matching tile remains trapped underneath one of them.
Beat the Timer Without Getting Stuck
Mah Jongg rewards a balance of speed and planning. Fast clicks help the final time, but careless matches can leave the board with no available pairs. Work from the outer edges and upper layers toward the middle.
When several matches remain open, choose the pair that changes the board most. Each removal should create another useful option. Mah Jongg uses easy mouse controls, yet completing the full layout requires close observation and sensible tile order.
