Paris Has to Escape Again
Escaping Paris 2 continues the prison escape idea of the first game. Paris finds herself back in jail and needs another plan to get outside. This time, the prison contains more rooms, useful objects, characters, locked areas, and item-based puzzles.
Rather than simply finding one key and walking to the exit, you need to collect objects and work out how they can help with different problems.
Explore Different Parts of the Prison
You can move through areas such as corridors, a kitchen, an infirmary, storage areas, and other rooms. Some places contain useful objects. Others contain characters who can help after you bring them something they need.
This creates a chain of small puzzles. An item found in one part of the prison may become useful much later in another room.
It helps to remember places that seem important even when you cannot do anything there yet.
Collect and Use Items
Escaping Paris 2 includes several items that play a part in the escape. You can find keys, a doll, clothing, a shovel, and other objects while exploring. Some items need to be exchanged or used to obtain something else.
The doll has an interesting purpose. Placing it in the bed can help make it look as though Paris is still in her cell. A guard uniform also becomes useful near the end of the escape.
These puzzles encourage you to think about what an object could do rather than simply collecting it for points.
Move and Interact With Simple Controls
The arrow keys move Paris around the prison. Press the Spacebar to interact with characters, collect items, and use objects.
The controls remain easy, but solving the escape takes more thought than the first game.
Escaping Paris 2 is built around exploring, collecting, trading, and connecting clues. Search every useful room, keep track of your inventory, prepare a convincing escape plan, and use the right objects in the right places to get Paris out of jail once again.
