You draw rails to connect them, then place stations where people or cargo will get on and off. After that you buy a train and send it on a route.
When the train moves along the tracks you built, it brings you money. If the route is good, you earn more. With that extra money you can add new lines, put stations in more places, or buy extra trains. Bit by bit, your map fills with tracks and your world looks busier and more alive.
The rules in Epic Trains 2 are simple enough for kids to follow. You do not deal with hundreds of menus. You mostly choose where the rails go, where to drop a station, and which train to buy. It teaches planning in an easy way: if you build smart routes, you grow fast; if you build messy routes, you have to fix them later. Watching your trains glide along the lines you drew feels very rewarding.
