Basket Balls takes the basic idea of shooting a basketball and turns it into a puzzle game. Instead of standing in front of one hoop and taking repeated shots, players need to find a way to score in every basket placed around each level.
There are 38 levels. The layout changes from one stage to another. Some baskets sit in simple positions. Others require the ball to travel around obstacles or move between teammates before reaching the hoop.
Players aim with the mouse and click to throw the basketball. The controls are easy to understand, but making the correct shot becomes harder as the puzzles grow more complicated.
Pass the Ball Between Teammates
Teammates play an important role in Basket Balls. A player may not always have a clear path to the next basket. Passing the ball to another member of the team can create a better shooting angle.
Opposing players and obstacles can block direct shots. This makes each level a small problem to solve. Players need to look at the positions of the characters and decide where the ball should go next.
The goal is to score in every basket on the level. Finishing the stage with fewer wasted shots and less time also helps players earn better results.
There is another funny target on some stages. Players can hit the referee with the ball. The referee is not simply part of the background. A well-aimed shot at the referee can become part of completing a strong run.
More Than a Normal Sports Game
Basket Balls feels different from a standard basketball game because it focuses more on aiming and planning than running around a court. There is no need to control a player who dribbles from one end of the screen to another.
Instead, every throw matters. The player studies the level, chooses a target and decides how much power and angle the shot needs. Passing becomes just as useful as shooting.
Later stages demand more accurate throws and better planning. Missing a teammate or sending the ball into the wrong area can waste time. Basket Balls keeps the rules simple while giving each level a different puzzle to solve. It works well for players who enjoy basketball themes but also like games where careful aiming matters.
