Destroy Turrets Without a Weapon

Vel.shock(α) is an action game with an unusual rule. Your character cannot fire bullets at the enemies. Mechanical turrets appear around the screen and launch missiles toward you. The only way to destroy them is to turn their own attacks against them. This creates a mix of quick movement, careful timing, and simple puzzle thinking.

The idea stays easy to understand. Avoid the incoming missile, release a shockwave at the correct moment, and send the projectile back toward the turret that fired it.

Create a Shockwave

Click the mouse button to release a shockwave around your position. The wave changes the direction of nearby missiles. A well-timed click can bounce a projectile straight back into an enemy turret. Clicking too early may push the missile in the wrong direction. Waiting too long can allow it to hit you.

Watch the path of each shot before using the shockwave. Try to stand where the missile can travel back toward an enemy after the bounce. Random clicking may protect you for a moment, but it will not always damage a turret.

Use Enemy Fire Carefully

More turrets make the screen harder to control. Several missiles may travel from different directions at the same time. One projectile can destroy the turret that launched it, while another may need to be redirected toward a different target.

Focus on the closest danger first. Wait for a missile to enter the useful range of your shockwave. Then click once and check its new direction. Moving too close to a turret can leave little time to react.

Learn the Timing

vel.shock(α) rewards players who stay calm during busy moments. The game may look like a shooting challenge, but success does not come from firing faster. It comes from reading each attack and choosing the right moment to respond.

Every missed bounce helps you understand how far the shockwave reaches. Each successful return removes another threat. vel.shock(α) turns enemy bullets into your only weapon and makes defensive movement the key to winning.
