Restoring Colour to a Painted World

Tales of Crevan follows a fox named Crevan through a fantasy world created inside magical paintings. Monsters have stolen the colour from the land. Crevan begins a journey to bring the missing shades back.

The adventure uses a side view. Crevan runs through painted areas filled with obstacles, traps, and enemies. Paint cans appear along the route. Collecting them refills Crevan’s supply and helps restore colour to the world.

The game uses the arrow keys for movement. Each stage asks you to keep Crevan safe while searching for useful items.

Avoiding Traps and Fighting Monsters

The paths contain dangers above and below Crevan. A trap on the ground may require a jump. Another obstacle may block the upper part of the path. The player needs to watch the full screen and choose a safe route.

Crevan loses health after hitting hazards. Coloured fox tails restore part of that health. Saving these items for the right moment can help during difficult sections.

Monsters also stand between Crevan and the missing colours. Some parts require movement and fighting at the same time. Running without watching the path can send the fox into another danger.

Collecting Points and Improvements

Tales of Crevan awards points as the journey continues. These points unlock improvements for the character. Stronger abilities help Crevan face later areas where the obstacles and monsters become harder to avoid.

Paint cans remain important throughout the adventure. They do more than add to the score. The cans connect directly to Crevan’s mission of repairing the fading world.

The hand-drawn setting makes each stage look like part of a storybook. Colour also acts as a sign of progress. Areas begin to feel more alive as Crevan gathers the missing paint.

Tales of Crevan mixes running, collecting, fighting, and careful movement. The story stays easy to follow. A magical world has lost its colours, and a brave fox sets out to return them.
