Defend Earth From an Alien Invasion
Stoneage Blast is a side-scrolling shooting game where a young cave boy joins forces with a large prehistoric flying beast. Aliens have invaded Earth, and the unusual pair must fight through the attackers. The boy rides on his creature while enemies, projectiles, and larger threats move across the screen.
The adventure contains five stages. Each one introduces new enemy groups and ends with a distinct boss battle. Power-ups and a special attack help the pair survive the growing alien force.
Fly and Keep Firing
Use the arrow keys to move around the screen. Press Z to fire the regular weapon. Hold a safe position and keep shooting at enemies before they reach your side of the play area.
Movement matters as much as attacking. Staying in one spot makes it easier for enemy shots to reach you. Move around incoming fire while keeping the cave boy lined up with the nearest target.
Collect Useful Power-Ups
Defeated enemies can leave behind power-ups. These items improve the weapon and make it easier to clear crowded sections. Move toward a reward only after checking the path around it. Flying into several enemy shots for one upgrade may cause more trouble than the item solves.
Stronger firepower becomes useful during later stages and boss fights. Try to protect each collected upgrade by avoiding unnecessary hits.
Save the Special Attack
Press X to unleash the special weapon. Some versions describe this action as throwing a bomb. It can remove several enemies or deal extra damage during a dangerous moment.
Do not spend the special attack on one weak enemy. Save it for a crowded wave or a boss pattern that becomes hard to avoid.
Stoneage Blast combines a prehistoric hero with a science-fiction invasion. Its five-stage structure keeps the journey clear. Players fly, shoot, collect upgrades, and defeat a different boss at the end of each major section. Careful movement and sensible use of the special weapon give the cave boy and his flying companion the best chance of protecting Earth.
