SteamBirds is a plane battle game you play from above. You control little planes and the enemy has planes too. You do not fly in real time. You plan where your plane will go next by pointing an arrow. Then the turn plays out and both sides move at once. Your job is to win the fight and not get shot down.
In SteamBirds, every plane can do special moves. One plane can spin fast and turn around quick. Another plane can speed forward in one burst. Some planes can drop harmful stuff behind them so enemies take damage if they follow. You can’t use special moves every single turn, so you have to think about when to use them. You try to guess where the bad planes will move and get into a good spot to shoot them.
SteamBirds also has missions. Sometimes you fight all enemies. Sometimes you guard an important plane and keep it safe. The game starts easy and then gets harder, because more enemies show up and try to trap you. It feels like a smart air battle instead of button smashing. You win by planning your path, staying out of danger, and lining up the best shot
