Enjoy Playing Homer the Flanders Killer 6

I stumbled onto Homer the Flanders Killer 6 a few weeks ago, and honestly, it’s one of those bizarre fan-made games that somehow sticks in your head. You play as Homer Simpson on a rampage through Springfield, armed with everything from spatulas to bowling balls as you track down Ned Flanders. The visuals lean heavily into that familiar Simpsons cartoon style, but they’ve been dialed up with enough pixel gore that you know you’re not in sweet, wholesome rerun territory anymore.

What really keeps you hooked is how the levels unfold. One moment you’re bungling your way through the Kwik-E-Mart dodging Apu’s bagels, and the next you’re sneaking through the Simpson house basement trying not to wake Marge. There’s a stealth element here that feels surprisingly tense—Homer’s not exactly Michael Myers, but when Flanders spots you, it’s game over in the most cartoonishly gruesome way possible.

The sixth installment also introduces a few neat twists. You unlock “rage mode” if you manage to collect enough Duff beers, which turns Homer into a hulking berserker with way too much strength. I also love the little Easter eggs sprinkled throughout—the “Okily Dokily” jingle playing in the background just before Flanders pops out of a bush is both charming and unnerving in equal measure.

All in all, Homer the Flanders Killer 6 is a wild misadventure that feels like the Simpsons universe went off the rails. It’s not polished like a big studio release, but that’s kind of its charm. If you’re up for some dark humor, cartoony violence, and a twisted trip through Springfield, this one’s definitely worth a spin.
