Return to a Bigger Stick Army Battle

Heroestick 2 continues the fantasy strategy idea with another war between large stick armies. The player once again commands a force instead of controlling one hero. Humans, witches, zombies, undead monsters, and giants can all appear as part of the wider conflict.

The game keeps its focus on real-time army building. Troops enter the battlefield and move toward the enemy while the player handles the economy behind them.

That means a successful attack starts before the soldiers even reach the fighting.

Gather Supplies Before Training Troops

Gold and food remain the two important resources in Heroestick 2.

Gold needs to be mined. Food needs to be collected. Both support the creation of new units and other improvements.

Building a large army too early can drain those supplies. The first group may look powerful, but there may be nothing left for replacements.

Keeping enough workers active gives the army a better chance during longer battles.

The enemy also continues building forces, so the player cannot spend the entire match saving resources. Heroestick 2 rewards a steady balance between production and fighting.

Humans, Witches, Zombies, and Giants

Heroestick 2 gives the battlefield a fantasy feel through its unit choices.

Normal human soldiers provide part of the army. Witches add magical fighters. Zombies and undead creatures bring another style of unit into the war. Giants offer much heavier strength when the player can afford them.

The player can also buy upgrades and power-ups. These improvements help prepare the army for stronger opposition.

A large number of weak soldiers may not always solve a difficult battle. Stronger units and upgrades can create a better push when the enemy starts holding the middle of the battlefield.

Keep an Eye on Both Sides

Heroestick 2 uses a scrolling battlefield rather than showing everything on one screen.

A and D or the left and right arrow keys move the view. Number keys 1 through 6 and the QWERTY row provide quick ways to release units. The mouse handles the main commands and menu choices.

Scrolling toward the front helps the player see how well an attack is working. Moving back makes it easier to check the friendly side and manage production.

Heroestick 2 stays easy to understand because every part supports the same goal. Gather food and gold. Train an army. Improve useful troops. Stop enemy forces from taking control. Then build enough pressure to push toward the opposing side.

The mix of regular fighters, magic units, undead creatures, and giants gives the battles more variety while keeping the simple stick-war style of the series.
