Build an Entire Civilization on a Tiny Island

Grow Island is a point-and-click puzzle game where you develop a small island by choosing different fields of technology. Instead of freely constructing buildings wherever you want, the game gives you a set of development panels. You click each panel once, and the order you choose determines how far every part of the island can grow.

The simple-looking island can eventually become filled with roads, machines, buildings, transportation, and other advanced developments.

Choose the Panels in the Right Order

Every panel represents a different area of knowledge or technology. Clicking one starts its development.

The important rule is that the different systems affect each other. One choice may help another technology advance several levels later. Choosing the same items in a different order can produce a completely different result.

You cannot simply click everything quickly and expect the perfect island.

It helps to watch what happens after every choice. A new structure may interact with something you developed earlier. That reaction can give you a clue about which panel should come sooner during your next attempt.

Watch the Island Change

Much of the fun in Grow Island comes from seeing the small world transform.

New discoveries create chain reactions across the landscape. Technology improves, structures change, and the little inhabitants find new ways to use what you have developed. The game was built around different fields of study, which explains why engineering and technology play such a large part in the island’s growth.

Try to Max Out Everything

The main goal is to find an order that lets every development reach its maximum level.

A failed attempt is still useful because it shows how the systems influence each other. You can restart, change the order, and watch for a different chain of events.

Grow Island turns a handful of buttons into a surprisingly thoughtful puzzle. Choose carefully, watch every reaction, learn which technologies depend on others, and keep experimenting until the little island develops as far as possible.
