Escape From Ageon is a side-scrolling space shooting game built around a rescue mission. Commander Lucas is being held prisoner on the planet Ageon under heavy security. Your job is to enter hostile territory, survive the Ageon defenses, and bring the commander back safely.
The game puts you in control of a spacecraft rather than a soldier walking through the planet. Enemy forces appear while you move through the stage, so you need to keep attacking while also protecting your ship.
Aim and Shoot With the Mouse

Escape From Ageon keeps its story simple and gives the action a clear purpose. You are not flying through space only to chase a score. Commander Lucas is waiting somewhere inside enemy territory.
Aim carefully, use the laser when extra firepower is useful, activate protection during dangerous moments, and keep pushing through the Ageon defenses. The mission ends only when you have survived the hostile planet and completed the rescue.
