Info About Bloxorz

You know that feeling when a game lulls you into a false sense of security? That’s Bloxorz. You’re in control of a 2×1 rectangular block, tipping it upright or letting it lie flat as you nudge it across a floating grid. The goal is devilishly simple: roll your block so it falls perfectly into the square hole at each level’s end without tipping off the edge. No power-ups, no time limits—just pure spatial puzzling.

At first it’s straightforward: a few solid platforms, a couple of gentle slopes. But pretty soon you’re wrestling with switches that vanish or extend tiles, trapdoors that snap shut beneath you, fragile panels that can’t bear your weight more than once, even teleporters that catapult you across the map. One wrong tilt and your block hurtles into oblivion, forcing you to rethink the entire sequence. It’s maddening, in the best possible way.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat down for “just one more level” and ended up losing an hour to this thing. The graphics are minimalist, the controls are just arrow keys, and yet every solved puzzle feels like a tiny victory. Despite its age, Bloxorz still nails that perfect balance of accessibility and brain-bending challenge, and those “aha!” moments never get old.
