About Alien Hominid

Have you ever picked up Alien Hominid and just felt like you’d blasted into a Saturday morning cartoon? You play as this tiny green alien who crash-lands on Earth and instantly attracts the attention of every armed government goon within a hundred-mile radius. Armed with a blaster and a load of enthusiasm, you fight your way through backyards, secret labs, and even the Pentagon, all while dodging bullets, tanks, and giant robots. It’s frantic, it’s silly, and it’s downright addictive.

The controls are delightfully simple: run, jump, shoot, and a nifty charged shot that’ll send enemies flying. You also have a trusty shovel for up-close encounters—perfect for digging up power-ups or whacking unsuspecting soldiers. There are unlockable weapons, like homing missiles or a rapid-fire laser, which add a fun layer of strategy when you’re about to face a tough boss. Timing your grip-and-throw moves is especially satisfying when you heave a soldier across the screen into your other foes.

Each level throws something new at you, from car chases to sewers to gigantic mechs that stomp around like they own the place. And if you’ve got a friend over, the co-op mode turns the chaos up to eleven—two shmup-obsessed aliens tearing through waves of hapless humans makes for some unforgettable moments. Even the challenges mode, with its bizarre mini-games, gives you a break from straight shooting and keeps the pace lightning fast.

What really sells Alien Hominid is its hand-drawn, comic-book art style and that sense of pushing the limits of a simple Flash origin. It’s raw, it’s energetic, and it doesn’t hold back on the humor. Years after its release, it still feels fresh because every explosion, headshot, and impromptu dance animation just clicks. If you haven’t tried it yet, be ready for a wild, retro-infused joyride.
