In Diggy you help a tiny explorer dig deep into the ground. He holds a drill and follows the direction you choose. You point where to go, and he cuts through soil and rock to reach shiny objects. Diggy cannot dig forever. He has an energy bar that slowly goes down as he drills. When it reaches zero, he goes back up to rest. At the surface you use the money you earned to buy better tools. You can get a stronger drill, a bigger battery, and a smarter radar. Next time you go down, you stay longer and find more treasure.
The big dream in the game is a magic truffle near the center of the earth. Each day you dig a little deeper and the map of tunnels grows. When you finally reach that strange prize, it feels like you and Diggy built the whole path together.
