FNF: Madness Combat 9.5 vs Tricky is a Friday Night Funkin’ mod inspired by Madness Combat 9.5. This time, Boyfriend faces a zombie version of Tricky in a set of intense music battles. The mod keeps the familiar Friday Night Funkin’ rhythm gameplay while giving the stage, characters, and music a darker Madness Combat style.
The goal stays simple. Follow the arrows, press the matching keys at the right moment, and survive until the song ends.
Three Songs Make Up the Main Challenge
The mod includes three tracks:
Nail-Down starts the battle with Zombie Tricky.
Other-Place continues the fight with another fast chart.
Retained appears as a Freeplay song and brings the Retainer into the action.
Each song has its own rhythm and visual style. The faster parts can become difficult because several notes arrive close together.
Match the Arrows Without Missing Too Much
You play using the arrow keys. Symbols move toward their matching targets on the screen. Press the correct direction when the notes line up.
Good timing keeps Boyfriend performing and protects your health. Missing too many notes causes the health bar to fall. If it reaches the end, the song stops and you need to try again.
The controls are simple, but the speed makes the game challenging.

You can work through the songs as part of the main battle or choose tracks separately in Freeplay.
