You stand ready with a gun and your helper by your side. Zombies come your way after getting glowy from smoking something odd. You point with your mouse and click to shoot. The ammo runs out, but you often find more ammo on the fallen zombies. That keeps the fight going through many waves. You try to stop the undead from getting too close to your safe spot.
After each wave, you get coins. You use them to buy new weapons or make the ones you have better. You and your helper each have a few weapon slots to hold gear. Picking the right tool for the job helps you do better and last longer.
The game gives you medals for things like killing hundreds or even thousands of zombies, or using cool weapons well. You can switch weapons fast using keys 1 to 5, reload with R, and pause with P. Different tools do better on different zombie types, so switching helps you win.
