Playing Hefty Shaman on Papas Gaming
Okay, so picture this: you’re playing as this shaman who, let’s be honest, has enjoyed a few too many feasts. The whole point of the game, Hefty Shaman, is that this dude cannot jump. Not even a little hop. He’s completely glued to the ground, and it’s actually hilarious. You have to get him through these puzzle rooms, and seeing him just bonk into a tiny ledge he can’t get over is part of the fun.
The real trick, and the whole game, is that you can stop him in his tracks and sort of project your spirit out to move things around. You become like a ghostly hand that can slide blocks, hit switches, and basically rearrange the level so your shaman can just waddle through to the exit. It’s a simple idea, but man, it gets your brain working. You’ll spend a lot of time just staring at the screen, thinking, “If I move that block there, then he can… no, wait…”
Honestly, some of the puzzles are genius and will make you feel like the smartest person alive when you finally solve them. Others will make you want to throw your keyboard. But because the game looks like a bright, goofy cartoon and doesn’t take itself seriously, it never gets truly frustrating. It’s the perfect kind of game to fire up when you want something that messes with your head in a fun way, without any super complicated controls or story to worry about.
